Happy Day

Camila keeps teaching me cool things I can do with my camera, hence I took this sweet photo!

Today was a good sunday, we accidentally slept in too late to go to our ward, so we went to the 11 am one. Church was good and afterward we walked home in the slight rain that was falling. I read some talks online from past conferences, and I really enjoyed gaining new insight on the topic I picked out, which was perseverance. I had never considered that persevering means not simply waiting until something from our lives is no longer a struggle for us, but active pateince and faith is what true perseverance entails. I really enjoyed being able to read talks from the general athorities today, I feel kinda out of the loop without the liahona or ensign here so Im glad there is the internet! This is my shout-out in the sand to my parents! Love you guys!

This evening I listened to the CES fireside on-line while I cooked and cleaned, I didnt feel like watching it dubbed into portuguese. The biscuts I made tasted weird to me, so tomorrow I will take them to the ducks at the park where we run...lol. But anyway the fireside was really good, I enjoyed the topic and the fact that we need to act on things in faith, from school to friendships, marriage to our scripture reading...we need to have faith be a part of it all. I also liked that the speaker stressed that we are living at a very unique time in the history of the world and that our actions in life really count for something, sometimes I forget that. I had a renewed desire to have faith in my actions after that talk, I'm glad I sat down to listen to it, if you havent read it or listened to it I would reccomend it!Um, the tiny wagon again...just cant get over the tinyness

I am also really happy because I was able to talk to some friends and family today. A wise person suggested I get skype to talk to them because it is cheaper, and that was defenetly a good idea:) I felt for the first time today actually in contact with people and I was able to call people without it costing an arm and a leg for the first time ever! It was great.Yesterday with the little waterfall in the back

Well, now it is really late and I should go to bed, but I hope that each and everyone of you has a good week and that you can accomplish all your goals be what they may. Okay writing that last sentence reminds me to ask pardon for my english, it is getting weirder and so is my spelling, I write weird things because i cant remember how else to say it! So dont mind it please!

ps. here are the links for the videos, hope they work and enjoy! (and no, i dont really dance like that :)
