I'm shrinking!
The title of my blog is because I am finally seeing the weight I gained from study abroad and the famous "Pega mais Kris!!" that i always heard during the summer go away! Hooray, thanks to subway, the fact that I have to walk an hour at least everyday to get to our office, and going running in the mornings, I am looking thinner. Hopefully it will stay that way hehehe.
Today we went into the office at like 9 am to fill in teaching one of the classes. I was so tired and just didnt have energy so as soon as that finished at 1 pm I made the walk back to my apartment and took a nap. I woke up at 5:30 to the sound of thunder and got back into my dress clothes to walk back to the office to give the intensive class that went from 7-10 pm tonight and tomorrow from 9am-4pm tomorrow. Camila and I talked about it and decided to stay here for the weekend, since we have to start traveling on monday for 2 weeks straight and it would be good to pack things and get ready. So who knows what we will do tomorrow after our class finishes, maybe go see a movie.
While I was at the apartment sleeping Camila was at the office trying to figure out her visa stuff....and this one guy was following her around for most of the time asking her random personal questions. He is the kind of guy that is like "i bet you are so glad that out of all the people i could have been talking to, i chose you. Really you should be honored." So sorry camila that you had to endure that today.
That reminds me, today when I was comming into the office I came in alone because Camila left a bit earlier, and there were some crazy men out on rua XV today...lol the crazy things people do here while im walking past them, one guy even ran his hand through my hair, they never cease to amaze me. Defenetly something I havent gotten used to, and something I wont miss when I get back to provo!
I realized last night that I have less than a month left here in Brazil, and my first thought was wow, this time has gone by SO fast, and my second thought was when is the next time I'll be back here? I hadnt thought of that before, because when I left Sao Paulo I knew i was comming back, but now...I dont know. I defenetly know that I want to come back, and I know that I will miss people from here, I guess I'll just wait and see when the next oppertunity arises.
Well it is midnight and I'm going to finish watching "legalmente loira" or as we know it in english "legally blonde"...its on tv dubed into portuguese and its still funny to me. Well everyone have a good night and a great weekend!
